The set up has on V block laying on it's side against the fixed haw and a pair of parallels set to have the part level.  Movable jaw is against the "spigot" of the part.

"The Part"  I could mill one flat on the uppermost portion of the part if needed.

The moveable jaw is not in place in these images.  I will install the jaw, bolt it down and then machine the other side of the dovetail.  The two pins (303 stainless rod) guide the moveable jaw.
