12/04/05  Beevo got a new telescope mounting, an Orion Atlas EQ-G goto mount!  I finally have succumbed to the lure of a GEM. 

12/15/05  Fun with a soldering iron!  Making a cable to connect the Atlas GoTo with a Dell AXIM X5 and The Sky Pocket Edition.  See the new Atlas Data Cable page.  Trunks and cases for the Atlas Mount and Meade OTA are nearly done.  Construction information coming soon.

8/05/06  I started pulling the Atlas Mount apart to do the re-grease and worm gear adjustments.  A link to the fun so far......

8/13/06 The mounting is done, here is a good description on how to set up the worm shaft centering on the worm wheel.

8/20/06 The reassembled mounting works perfectly!  We got a chance to test it out when a break from the monsoons occurred

8/22/06  Detailed disassembly of the DEC and the RA housings now available.  While not complete at this time, they should get you through the process.

9/2/06 The much anticipated user flash programmable hand controller for the EQ6 (Orion Atlas EQ-G) has been released and is now available! Mine will arrive the week of 21 September
